Dr. Robert Szypczak
Dr. Robert Szypczak, “Ship-chak,” or Dr. Rob if you prefer, is a native of Munster, Indiana, and a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington in 2000, and then The Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, receiving his Doctorate in Optometry in 2004. Dr. Szypczak has been a resident of the Lowcountry and practicing Optometry since 2004. He specializes in difficult contact lens fits, treatment of ocular disease and comprehensive, educational eye examinations. He also provides low vision services by fitting specialized magnifiers. Outside the office, Dr. Szypczak enjoys coaching baseball, paying golf, bowling, and is an automotive enthusiast. He loves trying to keep up with his two young boys Zachary and Derek!
Dr. Jennifer Switak
Dr. Jennifer Switak, a native of Homer Glen, IL, graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2004 with honors. She received specialized training in pediatrics and vision therapy and enjoys working with children. She practices primary care Optometry, has training in fitting specialized contact lenses and enjoys seeing pediatric patients from our growing community. In Dr. Switak’s spare time, she enjoys reading, bowling, gardening, golfing and being a mom to her and Dr. Szypczak’s two boys, Zachary and Derek.
Dr. Jennifer Switak

Dr. Jola Rzegocki
Dr. Jola Rzegocki earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2002. She completed a post graduate residency program in cornea and contact lenses from the Philadelphia College of Optometry.
Dr. Rzegocki was born with poor vision and was in and out of doctors offices on a routine basis. She has a tremendous appreciation for the importance of good eye health and vision. Her eye examinations are focused on helping provide and maintain her patients with the clearest, most comfortable vision possible.
Dr. Rzegocki lives in Bluffton with her husband, also an optometrist, and two sons. She enjoys being active outdoors, cooking and exploring new places.

Bob Hagman
Optician
Bob is a Licensed Optician who retired to the Lowcountry from Ohio with his wonderful wife Karla. He brings with him over 49 years of optical experience. While in Ohio, Bob owned and operated Ohio State Optical as well serving on many state and national vision industry organization boards. When Bob has a free weekend, he enjoys heading to Charlotte, NC to catch a Charlotte FC soccer game with his twin sons.
Claudie Jenkins
Optometric Technician & Receptionist
Claudie is one of our amazing Optometric technicians, receptionist and contact lens trainer. Whether you first meet her in person or on the phone, you will remember her smile and bubbly personality. Claudie enjoys playing the drums, singing in church and spending time with her family.
Kelli George
Optician
Kelli graduated from Ogeechee Tech with a degree in Opticianry, which is an LDO. She has 15 years experience in the optical industry. Kelli’s welcoming smile and southern charm along with being very knowledgeable in the optical field, make her a valuable team player and a joy for patients to work with. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, the beach and spending time with family.

Optometric technician/Front Desk receptionist
Sabrina is our Optometric technician/Front Desk receptionist extraordinaire. She has over 5 years experience in the optical field. Sabrina is multi-talented. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and communicates with sign language. She is fun to be around and you will remember her wonderful laugh . Sabrina enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends at the bowling alley and traveling.
